  • Supported files: NSP, NSZ, XCI & XCZ are supported by all the suggested installer homebrew.

Sphaira | MTP

You need

Install over MTP steps

  1. Connect your device to your PC.
  2. Launch Sphaira from the homebrew menu.
    • Use title override for faster installs.
  3. Press Y Menu
  4. Select MTP Install
  5. If asked, "Installing is disabled, enable now?" select Enable, twice.
  6. On your PC access your device by opening the Nintendo Switch drive.
  7. Open Games
  8. Select the folder of the game you want to dump and copy it to your PC.
  9. Open Install (NSP, XCI, NSZ, XCZ)
  10. Drag your desired title(s) into the folder.

DBI | MTP

Install your titles directly to your Switch over USB. Without any need for additional PC programs.

You need

  1. On your Switch micro SD card, open the /switch/ folder.
  2. Create a folder for DBI if one does not exist.
  3. Copy your I nro to this folder.
  4. If you got the latest version, get translation_en.bin and rename it to translation.bin and copy that to the same folder.

Steps

  1. Connect your Switch to your PC.
  2. Launch DBI from the homebrew menu.
  3. Press X or scroll down and select Start MTP connection from the menu.
  4. Once your device is connected, on your PC access your device by clicking on the DBI drive.
  5. Access 5: SD Card install.
  6. Drag your desired title(s) into the folder.
  7. Your installation should start now. You will be notified in DBI once it has finished.
  • There may be some delay after a title is installed before the PC recognises it as successfully "copied" and starts the next file. If this happens, just let it do its thing for a minute.

Sphaira | NS-USBloader

Tinfoil | NUT

Install your titles directly to your Switch over USB, as long as you've named them correctly.
This option is generally not recommended compared to the previous ones, as it is more work without any benefit.
However, it may be the better option for network installs.

You need

Steps

  1. Extract tinfoil.latest.zip to your SD card.
  2. Run tinfoil_driver.exe.
  3. Create a folder named nut anywhere on your PC, and place nut.exe in it.
  4. Create a folder named titles in your nut folder.
  5. Run nut.exe.
  6. Once Nut launches, click on Local Scan Paths.
  7. Click on the Browse tab and pick your titles folder that you created earlier.
  8. Place your desired title in the titles folder.
  9. Click on the Files tab and click Scan.
  10. Once you see your desired title in NUT, plug your switch into your PC.
  11. On your Switch, access the homebrew menu and launch Tinfoil-Installer.
    • You will only have to launch Tinfoil once via the homebrew menu. Later on you may launch Tinfoil via the home menu.
  12. Once in tinfoil, head over to the New Games tab, and you should see your desired title there.
  13. Click A on the title to select it, and then click A again to install it.
    • If you want to install all the titles that are displayed in the New Games tab, click X and then A.
  14. You should now see the desired title on your home menu.
