How to dump device keys

This page has instructions for dumping Switch device keys. Usually used for PC programs.
It can also be used to fix a broken MMC when a full backup is not available. It's better to have the full backup, but it's easy to have both.

Notes

  • Navigation: Use volume buttons (volume down + volume up) for up/down and the power button (Power ico) to use the selected option.
  • Keys location: All .keys dumped will be saved to the /switch/ folder on the micro SD card.
  • emuMMC titles: If you have games installed to emuMMC you can dump title.keys by selecting Dump from EmuNAND in Lockpick_RCM.
  • No SD card reader: Remember you can copy files directly over USB, which you should do instead of removing the micro SD card from the Switch.
You should avoid taking out the micro SD card from the Switch unless necessary.
  • Mariko: Mariko Switch - Can also dump partialaes.keys by selecting Dump Mariko Partials from the Lockpick_RCM main menu, then select Dump Mariko Partials from the next menu.
